A SPECIAL CONTINGENT OF LADY COMMANDOS OF SPECIAL SECURITY UNIT TO PARTICIPATE IN PAKISTAN DAY PARADE

A special contingent of lady commandos of the Special Security Unit (SSU) representing Sindh Police is set to participate for the very first time in 81st Pakistan Day parade in Islamabad to be held on 23rd March 2021.

The contingents of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, Airport Security Force and other paramilitary forces will participate in the parade to exhibit their professional drill skills.

Pakistan Day commemorates March 23, 1940 when a resolution was passed in Lahore to demand a separate homeland for the Muslims. Seven years after the resolution was passed, on 14th August 1947 Pakistan came into being.

On the occasion, DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Maqsood Ahmed said that the participation of Lady SSU Commandos in the Pakistan Day Parade is a great pride for Sindh Police.

He further conveying a message to the masses of the country stated that Pakistan is the place where we live with pride where we say our words and articulate our ideas independently. Where ever we go, we can introduce ourselves as Pakistani because Pakistan is our identity.

The DIG stated that we must value our freedom and live here in harmony and peace. He sincerely hopes that Pakistan will progress day by day and its Law & Enforcement Agencies will be stronger and stronger.
