A SPECIAL CONTINGENT OF SINDH POLICE TO PARTICIPATE IN TOMORROW’S PAKISTAN DAY PARADE

A special contingent of Sindh police will participate in 82nd Pakistan Day parade in Islamabad to be held tomorrow on 23rd March 2022. The Sindh Police contingent will be led by SP Baldia Karachi Capt.®️Faizan Ali.

The contingent of Sindh Police consists of 371 personnel which includes 182 commandos of Special Security Unit (SSU), 131 personnel of Traffic Police and other districts of Karachi Range and 58 personnel of Rapid Response Force. Whereas, The contingents of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, Airport Security Force and other paramilitary forces will participate in the parade to exhibit their professional drill skills.

Pakistan Day commemorates March 23, 1940 when a resolution was passed in Lahore to demand a separate homeland for the Muslims. Seven years after the resolution was passed, on 14th August 1947 Pakistan came into being.

On the occasion, DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed said that we must value our freedom and live here in harmony and peace. He sincerely hopes that Pakistan will progress day by day and its Law & Enforcement Agencies will be stronger and stronger.
