It’s B50 now, not B40, this is a very serious matter, says Muhyiddin

Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said the Malaysian economy was impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and he was concerned that those who were categorised as B40, the lower 40 per cent, have now become the B50.

He said the government was working to address this as well as on efforts to address poverty in Malaysia.

He said this while addressing the 'Prosper Together with Sabah 2030' townhall session today.

Muhyiddin added that the government was also working towards strenghtening inclusive development in Sabah.
