Muhyiddin: It's a good gesture, but sultan must stop disturbing the administration of the state

Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin has welcomed Johor ruler Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar's olive branch to the federal government.

However, the home minister said for the strained ties to heal, the monarch must also admit to having caused unease.

Sultan Ibrahim earlier today called for dialogue with the federal government in order to settle their differences.

This is after Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad yesterday said the Johor and Terengganu constitutions were nullified when Malaya was formed.
