Protests over the BJP's choice of candidates rocked West Benga after many party activists staged demonstration outside the saffron camp's election office and while others hurled stones at some of the nominees, prompting police action. Several saffron party workers clashed with the police, when they were stopped from chasing candidates who were about to enter the party office to meet their seniors. The members were were mainly from Canning West, Magrahat, Kultali and Joynagar in South 24 Parganas. For more, watch the full show.
