The West Bengal Legislative Assembly has announced candidates for the election for four stages. For the remaining phases, members of the BJP Election Committee held a meeting in New Delhi on Wednesday evening and chanted names on each seat. The situation was such that the BJP had to struggle a lot to discuss the names of the candidates and decide on the remaining seats. According to sources, the meeting of the BJP Election Committee lasted till four in the morning.

पश्चिम बंगाल विधान सभा चुनाव के लिए चार चरणों तक उम्मीदवारों का ऐलान कर चुकी है. बाकी बचे हुए चरणों के लिए बीजेपी चुनाव समिति के सदस्यों ने नई दिल्ली में बुधवार की शाम बैठक की और एक-एक सीट पर नामों पर महामंथन किया. हालात ऐसे रहे कि बीजेपी को बाकी बची सीटों पर उम्मीदवारों के नामों पर चर्चा करने और उस पर फैसला लेने में काफी मशक्कत करनी पड़ी. सूत्रों के मुताबिक बीजेपी चुनाव समिति की बैठक अहले सुबह चार बजे तक चली.
