Registration procedures are at the last stage in order to protect the Perşembe Plateau Meander, which is unique in our geographic continent, as a world heritage.
In 1991, it was declared a Tourism Center with the Council of Ministers Decision. Aybastı is 17 km from our district. located at a distance. Its altitude is about 1,500 m. is around. Plateau festivals are held in July every year. Various competitions at the festivities, folklore
shows, concerts, social and cultural events, wrestling competitions, horse races, etc.
events are organized. Most of the highland road is asphalt and the rest is stabilized.
Ideal for relaxing, picnicking, safari, paragliding. There are also natural wonders, historical artifacts and areas of unmatched beauty in the plateau. Kumbetler, Çiseli Waterfall, Karga Hill are examples of these.
