A sanitary napkin vending machine has been installed at New Delhi's RK Puram Police Station, making it the first police station in the national capital to have such a provision. On the occasion of International Women's Day on Monday, an NGO Sangini Saheli installed the vending machine at the police station.

दिल्ली के आरके पुरम पुलिस स्टेशन में सैनिटरी नैपकिन वेंडिंग मशीन ‪लगाई गई है। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के मौके पर एक गैर सरकारी संगठन संगिनी सहेली ने ये पहल की।संगिनी सहेली द्वारा पुलिस स्टेशन में की गई इस पहल की काफी चर्चा हो रही है। तो वही दिल्ली के ज्वॉइंट सीपी जसपाल सिंह ने कहा कि दिल्ली पुलिस की फीमेल स्टाफ की सुविधा को देखते हुए ये कदम उठाया गया।
