Vladimir Putin To Become Russias President For Life As State Duma Approves Changes To Law Till 2036

The State Duma, Russia’s lower house of parliament, approved changes to law which would allow Vladimir Putin to serve as many as two more six-year terms as President. This potentially extends his rule over Russia to 2036, when he would be 83. The 67-year-old Putin has already ruled Russia for more than 20 years.
