Achala Saptami of Shukla Paksha of Magh month is considered to be the best among all Saptami dates. Achala Saptami has special significance in the scriptures. Achala Saptami is also known as Rath Saptami, Bhanu Saptami and Arogya Saptami. This year Achala Saptami is on 19 February. It is believed that in order to get rid of these sins, the charioteer Suryanarayana is worshiped. It is said that on this day Surya Dev first published the world. It is also known as Surya Jayanti. On the day of Achala Saptami, one gets the fruits of worship of Sun God. Lord Surya blesses the devotees with happiness, prosperity and health.

माघ मास की शुक्ल पक्ष की अचला सप्तमी को सभी सप्तमी तिथियों में सर्वश्रेष्ठ माना जाता है। शास्त्रों में अचला सप्तमी का विशेष महत्व होता है। अचला सप्तमी को रथ सप्तमी, भानु सप्तमी और अरोग्य सप्तमी के नाम से भी जानते हैं। इस साल अचला सप्तमी 19 फरवरी को है। मान्यता है कि इस पापों से मुक्ति पाने के लिए रथारूढ़ सूर्यनारायण की पूजा की जाती है। कहते हैं कि इस दिन सूर्य देव ने सबसे पहले विश्व को प्रकाशित किया था। इसे सूर्य जयंती के नाम से भी जानते हैं। अचला सप्तमी के दिन सूर्यदेव की अराधना का अक्षय फल मिलता है। भगवान सूर्य भक्तों को सुख-समृद्धि और अरोग्यता का आशीर्वाद देते हैं।
