At what age should you start to learn to ski?
There is no real age to learn how to ski.
It's all about the desire, the sensations and a careful approach to the experience.
But generally, children start learning around the age of 3.
If your child already loves snow, sledding or making snowmen, this will be a big advantage for them.
To start learning in the best possible way, it's recommended that your child wear a real pair of skis, not a pair of edged skates.
Start with short sessions: you risk discouraging your children from the discipline by imposing too long and tiring lessons.
The ideal is to learn while having fun so that the basics are more easily acquired.
The altitude must also be gradually learnt! Even if, it should not cause any particular concerns, apart from a slight delay in the child's sleep.
