पुडुचेरी में इस साल विधानसभा चुनाव होने हैं. इस बीच कांग्रेस को राज्य में एक बड़ा झटका लगा है. यहां 4 विधायकों के इस्तीफे और एक विधायक के अयोग्य घोषित होने के चलते पार्टी ने बहुमत खो दिया है. दो विधायकों ने पिछले दो दिनों में ही इस्तीफा दिया है. 30 सदस्यों वाली विधानसभा में कांग्रेस के 15 विधायक थे, डीएमके के दो विधायकों के समर्थन के साथ कांग्रेस ने बहुमत का आंकड़ा पार किया था. विधायकों के इस्तीफे के बाद सीएम वी नारायणसामी की सरकार अल्पमत में पहुंच गई
