About two thousand liters of furnace oil has leaked into the sea from the state-run Travancore Titanium Products. This spread the oil layer in a radius of about one km. Company officials said that the leak was stopped within half an hour and the cleaning work is going on

सरकारी कंपनी त्रावणकोर टाइटेनियम प्राडक्ट्स से करीब दो हजार लीटर भट्टी के तेल का समुद्र में रिसाव हुआ है। इससे करीब एक किमी के दायरे में तेल की परत बिछ गई। कंपनी के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि आधे घंटे में ही रिसाव को रोक दिया गया और सफाई का काम जारी है
