And when the Parliament session started, the opposition asked many questions to the Modi government on this issue. The question was asked by Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav in Rajya Sabha, how many workers were unemployed in the unorganized sector due to the Corona crisis, what is the official figure with the government? In response to this question, the government has admitted that around one crore people had reached home during the lockdown in the Corona era.

कोरोना संकट काल से प्रवासी मजदूर को लेकर कई सवाल उठ रहे है. जिस तरह की तस्वीर लॉकडाउन में देखने को मिली थी. उसने सबको सोचने पर मजदूर कर दिया था. और जब संसद का सत्र चला तो इस मसले पर विपक्ष ने मोदी सरकार से कई सवाल पूछे. राज्यसभा में समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता रामगोपाल यादव की ओर से सवाल पूछा गया कि कोरोना संकट की वजह से असंगठित क्षेत्र में कितने मजदूर बेरोजगार हुए, सरकार के पास इसका आधिकारिक आंकड़ा क्या है? इस सवाल के जवाब में सरकार ने माना है कि कोरोना काल में लगे लॉकडाउन के वक्त करीब एक करोड़ लोग घर पहुंचे थे.
