Mauni Amavasya is going to take place on the 11th of the month of February 2021. It has been told in the scriptures that the Amavasya which occurs in the month of Magha is called Mauni Amavasya. On this day, keeping the silence and not uttering harsh words from one's mouth gives you the title of Muni. According to the scriptures, out of the 12 Amavasya of the year, this Amavasya has its own special significance. On this day the Gods reside in the Sangam and the Ganges, so bathing the Ganges is more fruitful than other days. This year, the importance of Mauni Amavasya is also more because on this day a holy dip will be taken in Haridwar Kumbh. मौनी अमावस्या 2021 फरवरी के महीने की 11 तारीख को लगने जा रहा है। शास्त्रों में बताया गया है कि माघ के महीने में जो अमावस्या लगती है उसे मौनी अमावस्या कहते हैं। इस दिन मौन व्रत रखने और मुख से कटु शब्द ना निकलने से मुनि पद की प्राप्ति होती है। धर्मग्रंथों के अनुसार साल के 12 अमावस्या में से इस अमावस्या का अपना खास महत्व है। इस दिन संगम और गंगा में देवताओं का वास रहता है जिससे गंगा स्नान करना अन्य दिनों की अपेक्षा अधिक फलदायी होता है। इस वर्ष मौनी अमावस्या का महत्व इसलिए भी अधिक है क्योंकि इस दिन हरिद्वार कुंभ में पवित्र डुबकी लगाई जाएगी। इस अवसर पर ग्रहों का संयोग ऐसा बना है जो इसदिन के महत्व को कई गुणा बढ़ा रहा है। 10 फरवरी की रात 1 बजकर मिनट से अमावस्या तिथि लग रही है 11 फरवरी को रात 12 बजकर 36 मिनट तक अमावस्या तिथि रहेगी। मौनी अमावस्या पर 11 फरवरी को दिन में 2 बजकर 5 मिनट तक पुण्य काल रहेगा। 11 फरवरी को दिन में 2 बजकर 5 मिनट तक श्रवण नक्षत्र और महोदय योग रहेगा। मौनी अमावस्या पर क्या करें ।
