Starbucks Executive, Roz Brewer , Its New CEO.
Walgreens announced that Brewer will
step into the new role on March 15.
The move will make Brewer the only Black
woman to lead a Fortune 500 company.
Starbucks announced Brewer’s
departure as the company’s
chief operating officer on Tuesday.
During her time at Starbucks,
she revamped stores, helped
expand the company’s rewards
program and pushed for diversity.
Brewer shared that she is looking forward to
venturing into the health care industry, especially
as Walgreens deals with the coronavirus pandemic. .
