We can't sit and wait for the unelected PN gov't to wake up, says Guan Eng

DAP secretary- general Lim Guan Eng said it was important for youths ambassadors and society to press the government to fulfil Malaysia's commitments to the Paris agreement and to push the climate change agenda.

He said unfortunately it seems like the government had given up on the goal and Malaysians had to take the initiative instead of waiting for the "unelected PN government to do the right thing."

He was speaking during the virtual launch of the 100 Youth Ambassadors for Climate Action campaign, which is an initiative by Bukit Gasing assemblyperson Rajiv Rishkaran to encourage society to practice and advocate green actions.
