Guan Eng: Kedah gov't to receive RM10m in annual special funds

The federal government will allocate RM10 million in annual special contributions to the Kedah state government beginning this year, announced Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng.
This was decided by the cabinet on July 4, he told Kedah Menteri Besar Mukhriz Mahathir (Harapan-Jerlun) during the question-and-answer session in the Dewan Rakyat today.
The special contribution will be reviewed every 10 years or at an appropriate time, he said.
