Four days after India kicked off its mega vaccination drive, the nation dispatched the first consignment of 1.5 lakh doses of Covishield vaccine to Bhutan on Wednesday. Another consignment of 100,000 doses will be sent to the Maldives today. This comes as India announced that it will export Covid-19 vaccines under grant assistance to Bhutan, Maldives, Bangladesh, Nepal, Myanmar and Seychelles from Wednesday.
