HBO’s new documentary, “40 Years a Prisoner,” directed by Tommy Oliver and available now on HBO Max, unpacks the aftermath of the 1978 Philadelphia police raid on the MOVE organization and how it landed nine members in prison for third-degree murder. Mike Africa Jr. talks to Salon about how he’s devoted his life to getting the city to apologize and bringing his parents Debbie and Mike Africa Sr. home.
