Three people were killed by security forces in Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday in an encounter in Parampora area of Srinagar. Police claimed that the three people killed were terrorists, while their family members said they had nothing to do with terrorism. The family members of those killed also staged a sit-in outside the police control room, calling it a fake encounter.

जम्मू कश्मीर के श्रीनगर में सुरक्षाबलों ने बुधवार को श्रीनगर के परिम्पोरा इलाके में एक एनकाउंटर में तीन लोगों को मार गिराया था. पुलिस ने दावा किया था कि मारे गए तीनों लोग आतंकवादी थे, जबकि उनके परिवार वालों का कहना है कि उनका आतंकवाद से कोई संबंध नहीं था। मारे गए लोगों के परिजनों ने इसको फेक एनकाउंटर बताते हुए पुलिस कंट्रोल रूम के बाहर धरना प्रदर्शन भी किया।
