SolarWinds hack has not reached U.S. Treasury classified systems, Mnuchin says

The U.S. recently confirmed its federal networks had suffered a large, sophisticated cyberattack.
Despite growing security concerns, a top government official says no classified systems were affected.

Mok-yeon, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin says,... the Treasury Department did not see any serious damage from the recent cyberattack against its federal networks.
In an interview with CNBC on Monday,.. he admitted that his department had been hacked.
But that only unclassified systems had been accessed,... and classified systems remain intact.
Just recently, a large, sophisticated cyberattack against Washington came to light.
The government confirmed that hacking has been taking place over the past nine months,... and is still ongoing.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo blamed Russia for the attack.
The hackers attempted to infiltrate multiple U.S. agencies and 24 organizations,... using software called SolarWinds Orion.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,... and parts of the Pentagon are also users of this software.
