Time is running out before the Brexit transition period ends on December 31st.
But the final road to a post-Brexit trade deal still remains bumpy.

Kyung-eun, tell us more.
Dami, the UK and EU are still continuing their extended talks.... even at this very late stage.
After speaking to the UK Prime Minister,... the EU president tweeted that there has been "substantial progress".
But she cautioned "big differences" still remain in place.
Ursula von der Leyen said,... talks would continue on Friday.
In the meantime, the UK also echoed some degree of pessimism.
A top UK official who has led Brexit policies said this.
"I think at the moment, actually, as I said to Peter, I think regrettably the chances are more likely that we won't secure an agreement. So at the moment, less than 50 percent."
The two sides are largely apart on the EU's fishing rights over UK waters.
The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson previously insisted that the EU recognize the UK's sovereignty.
Talks over a post-Brexit trade deal have been in deadlock for months,... since Britain left the EU in January.
