Well, the 1929 crisis, also known as The Great Depression, was a big economic crisis that originated in the USA, affecting markets all around the world. Up to that point, everything was going well and the United States had had some pretty prosperous times in the 1920s. However, on October 24th, a Tuesday that went down in history as “Black Tuesday”, the shares from the New York stock market started to plummet drastically.
