Protest of farmers is going on with regard to agricultural laws. The farmers had called for a Bharat Bandh on Tuesday, December 8. Which was also fully supported by the opposition parties. By the evening, the picture changed. In the evening, farmer leaders held a meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah. In which the demand of farmers was discussed. However, the government has made it clear that the agricultural laws will not be withdrawn. But the government has proposed to the farmers to make some amendments in the agricultural bills.

कृषि कानूनों को लेकर किसानों का विरोध प्रदर्शन जारी है. किसानों ने मंगलवार यानी 8 दिसंबर को भारत बंद का आह्वान किया था. जिसको विपक्षी दलों ने भी पूरा समर्थन दिया था. शाम होते होते तस्वीर बदलती दिखी. शाम को किसान नेताओं ने गृहमंत्री अमित शाह के साथ बैठक की. जिसमें किसानों की मांग पर चर्चा की गई. हालांकि सरकार ने साफ कर दिया है कि कृषि कानून वापस नहीं होंगे. लेकिन सरकार ने किसानों को कृषि बिलों में कुछ संशोधन करने का प्रस्ताव दिया है.
