Part 1 of 2 of Into the Night, the 2nd episode of the 3rd series from The Vice in 2001. In this episode Chappell is in court faced with giving evidence against a young prostitute (Kinsella) who is charged with killing her pimp. The prosecuting barrister Paul Weir (Standing) is an old friend, but when Weir begins to research into street life it threatens not only the case but his own career.
