People have a right to demonstrate peacefully and authorities should let them do so, spokesperson for UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has said on the farmers’ protests in India. India has called the remarks by foreign leaders on protests by farmers as “ill-informed” and “unwarranted” as the matter pertained to the internal affairs of a democratic country.
केंद्र सरकार के नए कृषि कानूनों को लेकर किसानों का आंदोलन जारी है। किसानों के आंदोलन को ना केवल देश बल्कि विदेशों से भी समर्थन हासिल हो रहा है। इस कड़ी में कनाडा, ब्रिटेन के बाद अब संयुक्त राष्ट्र संघ में भी किसान आंदोलन की चर्चा होने लगी है। भारत की तरफ से इस मुद्दे को घरेलू बताकर इसमें विदेशी नेताओं के हस्तक्षेप ना करने की नसीहत देने के बाद भी कई देश आंदोलन को लेकर अपनी बात रख रहे हैं।
