4 terrorists killed in Nagrota encounter, Maharashtra worst affeted state by Covid with 82,904 active cases

An encounter broke out at the Ban toll plaza in Jammu’s Nagrota where security forces laid a naka upon receiving information about suspected terrorists hiding at the location. Four terrorists have been gunned down in the encounter on Thursday morning. The gunfight is still on even after several hours while the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway has been closed by the security forces. Maharashtra reamins the worst affected state by the coronavirus with 82,904 active case. Meanwhile, India has recorded 45,576 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours while the death toll has also gone up by 585. India’s total number of coronavirus cases is now nearing the 90 lakh-mark.
