Three terrorists killed in an encounter Meghalaya

Meghalaya police led by Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) commandos today gunned down three militants in an early morning “hill storm” operation at Arbela range, near Chinabat in the East Garo Hills.
In an encounter which lasted for about 40 minutes, a civilian, Ronendro Marak, was shot on his left shoulder. “A stray bullet hit him, while he was at home. He has been given first aid and his condition is said to be stable,” said G.H.P. Raju, IGP (operation).
The camp, located on a hilltop deep inside the forest near Songma Enggok village, falls under Williamnagar police station.
