The whole nation is celebrating ‘festival of lights’, Diwali. On the occasion, the national capital lightened up. ‘Pink city’ also got lit up on occasion of Diwali and looked ethereal with illuminating lights. Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya illuminated on the eve of Diwali. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the event. He was accompanied by UP Governor Anandiben Patel and other dignitaries. People attended the event with strict compliance with the coronavirus guidelines. Ram ki Paidi is illuminated with over 5 lakh earthen lamps.

ఉత్తరప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం ఆధ్వర్యంలో గతేడాది మొత్తం 4.10 లక్షల మట్టి దివ్వెలను వెలిగించి గిన్నిస్ రికార్డు నెలకొల్పగా.. ఈసారి ఆ రికార్డును తిరగరాస్తూ ఏకంగా 5.84 లక్షల ప్రమిదల్ని వెలిగించారు. దీపావళి సందర్భంగా అయోధ్య గత నాలుగేళ్లుగా దీపోత్సవ్ వేడుక నిర్వహిస్తున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే.
