इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग का 13वां सीज़न भी मुंबई इंडियंस के नाम रहा. इस सीज़न के फाइनल मुकाबले में मुंबई ने दिल्ली कैपिटल्स को हराकर रिकॉर्ड पांचवीं बार आईपीएल के खिताब पर कब्जा किया. मैच के बाद मुंबई के कप्तान रोहित शर्मा ने खुशी जाहिर करते हुए कहा कि जीत की आदत बनाये रखना महत्वपूर्ण था. मैच के बाद रोहित ने कहा जिस तरह पूरे सीजन में हमारी टीम ने प्रदर्शन किया उससे मैं बहुत खुश हूं.
