Fly That Landed on Pence During Debate , Becomes Biden Campaign Slogan. A fly sat on Mike Pence's head during Wednesday's vice presidential debate for more than two minutes. A stark contrast to Pence's neatly-styled white hair, it was obvious to anyone watching. The vice president did not seem to notice that the fly was there. But viewers of what CNN's Jake Tapper referred to as a "normal debate," surely did. The 'Daily Show' tweeted, "If this happened to Trump he’d deduct it for $70,000," referring to reports of the president's tax deductions for hairstyling. Biden tweeted out a photo in which he's smiling and holding a fly swatter. A caption attached to the photo suggests that supporters "pitch in $5 to help this campaign fly."
