announced that his campaign
and its affiliated committees
had raised a total of $383
million in September.
He officially broke the record he
had just set only a month prior.
In August, Biden raised
$365 million, which was
$154 million more than Donald
Trump’s fundraising total. .
According to Biden’s campaign manager,
they are going into the final 34 days of the
presidential race with $432 million in the bank. .
Biden’s enormous September
fundraising haul is thanks
to more than $203 million
from online donors. .
The death of Supreme Court
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on
September 18 spurred over $100 million
in donations through ActBlue.
The first presidential debate, which
occurred on September 29, also
spurred the campaign’s biggest single-hour
fundraising total: $3.8 million.
That night, between 9 P.M.
and 12 A.M., the Biden campaign
raised a total of $10 million. .
The following day, the campaign had its single
best day to date with more than $21 million raised. .
