Major foreign investment banks have raised South Korea's GDP growth forecast for this year, on raised expectations for an economic recovery.
As of the end of October, nine foreign investment banks, including JP Morgan Chase and Goldman Sachs, predicted South Korea's economy will shrink an average of one-point-two percent in 2020.
The figure is up point-two percentage points from the outlook a month earlier.
The nine investment banks raised growth outlooks for seven out of ten Asian countries they gave forecasts on, including South Korea.
