Railways Minister Piyush Goyal on October 30 stated that Indian Railways is willing to offer surplus land to the state governments for setting up industries in order to help the economy grow faster. "Railways has huge amount of land and we are willing to offer it to governments for faster economic growth," said Piyush Goyal. He attended a conference organised by the commerce ministry and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on October 30 in Delhi.
