Aaditya Thackeray, Sena Leaders Meet After Governors Invite, Sanjay Raut Says CM Will Be From Sena
  • 3 years ago
Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aaditya Thackeray and other party leaders arrived at Matoshree (Thackeray residence) in Mumbai after Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari invited Shiv Sena – the second largest party – and its elected leader Eknath Shinde to indicate willingness and ability to form a government. The development follows BJP’s denial to form government in the state where it accused the Shiv Sena of disrespecting the mandate given to the alliance. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that his party will give Maharashtra a Chief Minister from Shiv Sena at any cost. Raut also taunted the BJP over the latter’s denial to sharing CM post with Shiv Sena by asking “how will the BJP have its Chief Minister when it has denied forming government in the state?”
