Shiv Sena-BJP ties like Aamir-Kiran, says Sanjay Raut; 12 Maharashtra BJP MLAs suspended from Assembly for a year; more

While reacting to BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis’s remark saying that the two former allies are not enemies, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has said the BJP-Sena relationship is like that of Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao. “We are not India-Pakistan. Look at Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, it is like them. Our (Shiv Sena-BJP) political ways are different but the friendship will remain intact,” said Sanjay Raut on Monday. On the other hand, Maharashtra assembly Speaker in-chair Bhaskar Jadhav on Monday suspended 12 BJP MLAs for a year over unruly behaviour amid a ruckus in the House. A resolution was passed to suspend 12 MLAs for one year for abusing and manhandling the Speaker in the chair. The Opposition has in turn accused the Speaker of abusing some of the leaders during the ongoing Assembly session. Watch 5ive Live with Shiv Aroor for more.
