In an interview given to UrduPoint, one of the Punjab assembly members named Haroon Imran Gill has firmly put on his wish on giving 'Tamgha-e-Imtiaz' to Pakistan Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa. According to him, the army has tremendous contributions in making fair and transparent elections possible in Pakistan. Pakistan army has always protected the country under complex and critical situations. He said, Pakistan army has always promoted democracy and has given complete freedom to all political parties in the country. PTI is a praiseworthy political party that has grown up by 22 years struggle and services of Prime minister Imran Khan. Furthermore, he requested speaker Punjab assembly Mr. Pervaiz Elahi & Pakistan Law Minister Mr. Bahsarat to take serious notice on his submitted request for cherishing Chief of the army staff with Tamgha-e-Imtiaz.
