Coronavirus Infection In Indian Armed Forces: Army, Navy, BSF, ITBP, CRPF Personnel Contract COVID-19

Coronavirus cases registered a sharp jump on May 5 with 3,900 new cases added to India’s infection tally. India currently has 46,000 plus cases of the highly contagious infection. Among the positive cases, a number of personnel serving in various branches of India’s Armed Forces are also contracting coronavirus – either while serving in COVID-19 hotspot areas or through their colleagues. The Indian Army, Navy, BSF, CRPF, ITBP and CISF have all lodged cases of COVID-19 among their personnel.
