Kerala Assembly began with chaos on January 29. Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan read para 18 that is against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). He also said that he disagrees with it but to only honor Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan’s wish, he is reading the paragraph. Arif Mohammad Khan said, “I am going to read this para (against CAA) because honourable Chief Minister wants me to read this, although I hold the view this doesn't come under policy or programme. Chief Minister has said this is the view of government, and I disagree but to honor his wish, I'm going to read this para."
