Lok Sabha Elections 2019: A polling agent was arrested after a video of him influencing women voters in Haryana’s Faridabad surfaced on the internet. The action was initiated after the incident was brought to the notice of the Haryana election body. The agent sitting in the polling booth can be seen walking up to the voting compartment where a woman voter is already exercising her right and he appears to press a button on the voting machine before returning to his seat. The Election Commission of India said it sent the Faridabad election observer to the booth for a probe. Based on the election body's complaint, the man was arrested by the police on Sunday evening and has been charged for alleged booth capturing.
