Amid the pandemic, one of the biggest talk of town... is discussing how to improve local healthcare systems.
A government agency under Seoul's health ministry has invited local and foreign health experts to share their experience of responding to COVID-19 and discuss how to improve healthcare.

South Korean health organization, the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service is holding an international symposium in Wonju to discuss how healthcare systems can develop to improve their response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The event is being held online from Monday to Wednesday, with only a limited number of guests allowed to attend in person.
"As the covid-19 pandemic continues to linger, health experts from around the world gathered to discuss how they responded to the virus."
"The goal of this conference is to collect information about experiences related to the COVID-19 outbreak management in different countries for better universal health coverage and flexible healthcare system."
Dr. Edward Kelley from the World Health Organization explained how the WHO is responding to the pandemic.
"We've also worked with countries to prepare and respond in terms of helping develop the transplant, networks, help desks and learning platforms and guidance."
He added that governments should quickly scale up their investments in core common goods for health and remove financial barriers to healthcare.
Another health expert from Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development said that it's crucial to offer medical care to people in vulnerable groups.
"What we see increasingly in studies especially in the U.S and South America is that vulnerable groups, especially people with lower socio-economic status are hit most by the pandemic."
The best way to overcome this pandemic is for the countries to share their successful experiences dealing with the virus… and plan out fair and effective healthcare systems.
