In this video Subburaman Thirunavukkarasar.He was the State President of Tamil Nadu Congress Committee till 2 February 2019 and former secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC) of the Indian National Congress (INC) party.His introduction to politics in 1977 was facilitated by former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. G. Ramachandran. Ramachandran founded the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) in 1972 Now He is in Member of Parliament, representing Tiruchirappalli constituency in the Lok Sabha in congress party. VK Sasikala was found guilty of corruption by the Supreme Court and has been sentenced to four years in prison Ms Sasikala had, in the early 90s, accumulated an illicit fortune with Ms Jayalalithaa, the five-term Chief Minister who she lived with, and who died in December.As the verdict was delivered in Delhi, Ms Sasikala was at a resort on the outskirts of Chennai, the ruling AIADMK, have been stationed for a week to prevent them from being poached by rival O Panneerselvam. He took over as Chief Minister after the death of Ms Jayalalithaa, who was his mentor.
O Pannerselvam, who lost his bid to remain in the seat of chief minister of Tamil Nadu, looked visibly disappointed as he addressed a press conference after it was announced that Governor Vidyasagar Rao had invited his rival V K Sasikala’s proxy Edappadi Palaniswamy to be the next chief minister.
