The enforcement of the ban on the manufacture, storage, sale or distribution of pan masala and gutka.the Food Safety Department seized a total of 62,175 kg of banned products across the State. However, activists said the products continue to be available. Few months earlier this issue was the talk of the town as the vendor dairy was found in that he had written the names of the persons whom he gave commission for selling Gutka. The name includes DSP Rajendren, Commissioner George and TN Health minister Vijayabasker name as well. The action is going to be taken directly over the person who involved in this act. Vijayabasker is set free from this issue as of now no action is going to taken on him.
