S. Ve. Shekher is an ex-member of the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly. He was elected by the Mylapore constituency.
He was elected as an ADMK candidate in the 2006 election. He had a turbulent relationship with the party leader, J. Jayalalithaa. In February 2008, he rebuked the party leadership for not inviting him to a general council meeting. His commendation of M. K. Stalin, deputy chief minister of Tamil Nadu from DMK party evoked strong protests from AIADMK party members. He was expelled from AIADMK on 30 July 2009.Later,he joined BJP on 8 October 2013 and he is an active member of BJP right now. He tells we will not participate in any of the general elections any more. After the dismiss of Jayalalitha ADMK party turns zero, all were running for the seats instead of serving for the state and people and many revealed their true colors at this time too. Rajini and Kamal announced their political entry, but they are yet to begin. I welcome them to politics but they both becoming CM of Tamilnadu is the impossible one and people wont elect too. Actor Vishal's sudden entry into politics is to get a publicity for him and he is being used as the trump card for TTV Dhinakaran who is behind him.
