As anger intensified over the alleged gangrape and late-night cremation of a 19-year-old Dalit victim in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras, Constable Jamil Ahmed Khan, who accompanied the victim while she was transported to Delhi from Aligarh and came back with her body, admitted his superior didn't follow set protocols in such a sensitive case.
