S. Korea to resume free flu shots next week after safety concerns addressed

The South Korean government is going to start giving out free flu shots again next week,... having suspended the program last month because some of the vaccines had not been stored properly.
The free flu shots will restart next Tuesday, first for middle and high school students aged 13 to 18.
Shots will also be available for pregnant women, children of all ages and seniors from age 62.
The government has checked the vaccines and found no safety problems, though it has taken back about half a million of them just in case.
The goal this winter is to prevent a major flu outbreak, which could seriously complicate efforts to stop COVID-19.
