A 19-year-old woman in Hathras, who was gang-raped and severely injured and left to die on September 14, succumbed to grave injuries while battling for life at a hospital in Delhi. A huge ruckus broke out over the cremation of the Hathras gangrape victim's body. Meanwhile, speaking with Aaj Tak Prashant Kumar, ADG, law and order, UP said according to the local administration, the last rites were performed after taking permission and in the presence of the family.
