Tens of thousands of demonstrators in Belarus took to the streets of its capital Minsk on Sunday, in another protest against the reelection of President Alexander Lukashenko.
Protests have taken place daily in the country since the controversial election on August 9th handed Lukashenko a landslide victory, extending his 26-year rule.
According to Reuters, more than 100-thousand people marched through the streets of Minsk on Sunday.
Soldiers blocked off the city center, and police patrolled the streets deploying water cannons.
Nearly two hundred people were reportedly detained across the country throughout the day.
