Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said a special task force will be set up in Sabah to monitor election campaign sites in view of the growing number of Covid-19 cases in the state.

Ismail said the authorities have yet to make any decision on imposing lockdown measures in Lahad Datu and Tawau as the situation was still under control.

So far Tawau has recorded 331 positive cases and Lahad Datu 89 cases.
